Our Story
Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County was founded in 1946 with the mission of “enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” In our 80+ year history, we have become Whatcom County's premier provider of affordable after-school youth services.
When the school bell rings, four blue doors open at our Clubhouses across the county to provide safe, positive environments for young people. We welcome youth from their first day of kindergarten through age 18. We proudly operate facilities in Bellingham, Blaine, Ferndale, and Lynden.
Across our programs, we create opportunities for young people to discover their strengths, develop new skills, and build lasting connections. Because Great Futures Start Here.
