Family Resources
Welcome sports families! Whether you are new or have played sports with us before, use this page as a map to help orient you to the B&GC Athletic Department. Please browse this page for our Parent/Guardian Guide, safety information, and other resources to help support you this season.
How to Become a Parent Helper
Would you like to be involved with your player’s team, but aren’t able to take on being a coach? Parent Helpers lend a hand to coaches with things like team communication or snacks. Talk with your coach about taking on this role and then follow the steps below!
1. Fill out this volunteer application, including a copy of a photo ID. We’ll run annual state and national background checks. Volunteering with the B&GC is contingent upon passing both background checks.
2. Read, sign, and return the Coaches Code of Conduct.
3. Email all documents to athletics@whatcomclubs.org, stating the sport and age division for which you are applying. You can also bring in all documents to either our Bellingham or Ferndale offices.
