The 16th annual Spreading Smiles campaign ran from Thanksgiving day through December 31st, 2023 at all McDonald’s locations in Whatcom County. Each year, the dedicated staff work tirelessly to garner community support for our local Clubs by asking restaurant guests for a donation of $1 or more. This year was an extra exciting campaign, as we had a brand new McDonald’s location open up in Blaine, totaling seven locations across the county.
Thanks to the committed staff and outstanding community support, this year’s campaign raised $28,550! These funds will go to life-enhancing programs for local kids like engaging STEM sessions, nutritious and balanced meals, and a safe place to go after school. Thank you to everyone who was able to give a gift of hope this past holiday season – we appreciate you.
