Summer Camp 2026 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County

Summer Camp 2026 is here, and we’re ready for a sunny season full of fun, learning, and new friendships. If you’re looking for a safe and engaging place for your child this summer, we’ve got you covered.

Summer Camp 2026 Overview

Our summer camps run weekly from June 22 – August 21, 2026 at two locations:

Daily Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:30 pm 

Meals Included: We provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks every day of camp.

Weekly Camps

Each week offers a new theme for kids to explore. Families can register for one week or multiple weeks:

  • June 22 – 26
  • June 29 – July 2 (closed July 3)
  • July 6 – 10
  • July 13 – 17
  • July 20 – 24
  • July 27 – 31
  • August 3 – 7
  • August 10 – 14
  • August 17 – 21

Registration Details

  • Registration opens: April 1, 2026
  • Early registration discount ends: April 30, 2026

Membership Requirement

A 2025/2026 school year membership is required to attend camp.

  • Membership cost: $40*
  • *Membership is FREE if your child has Apple Health – ask us how before you register!

New Members

All new members attending camp who have not previously attended Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County after school programs are required to attend a 30 minute orientation with their parent or guardian prior to the first day of camp. After registering, contact alemay@whatcomclubs.org to schedule your orientation. 

Summer Camp Pricing

Program Early Registration (by April 30) Standard (May 1 and after)
K-5 (Bellingham or Ferndale) $140 per child/week $225 per child/week
*Teens (6th+ grade, Ferndale only) $25 per teen/week $50 per teen/week 

Scholarships

Many summer camps costs in Whatcom County range from $300 to $500 or more for a half or full day of camp. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County, we offer 9.5 hours of camp per day, 5 days a week at rates that are 30% – 70% less than other camps in our area because we are fully committed to being your top choice for a safe, affordable and fun place for kids year round. We build in a scholarship to every camp registration to keep rates accessible to Whatcom County families.

Don’t forget! If your child is a new Club member and has Apple Health, their membership is free, you just pay for the weekly camp fee.

Age Requirement

All summer camp members must have completed kindergarten by the first day of camp. Those entering kindergarten in Fall 2026 are not eligible for camp. 

*Teen Program

Our Teen Program is available for youth who have completed 6th grade by June 2026 and are ready to participate in teen-specific programming, including field trips. If you’re unsure which program is the best fit for your child, please reach out to your Club Director and we are happy to advise you.  

How to Register

Login or create your Parent Portal account on the BGCWC website. Click on ‘Enroll’ from the top menu, and select the site you want to enroll in camp. From there, select the camp weeks. 

Helpful hint → If you do not see the Enroll button in the top menu, it typically means that you need to update your profile. Select the profile tab to complete any missing information. If you are still experiencing difficulty after this step, contact your Club Director for help.

Refund Policy: Membership and camp fees are non-refundable
