Testimonials

The Boys & Girls Club played a significant role in assisting me in moving forward and being successful. With the support and motivation of my foster parent, my teachers, and the staff at the Club, I have transformed into a new person who has the desire and ability to go to college and seek a career in social work.
Kim Hines, Whatcom County 2014 Youth of the Year
“I’ve journeyed through elementary, middle, and high school facing many obstacles. I’m near college graduation and I always credit the Boys & Girls Club for supporting me through my adolescence and as a young adult. I cannot picture where I would be in my life without the life lessons and experiences I’ve gained being a Club member.”
Vang Le, Whatcom County & Washington State 2010 Youth of the Year
“Everything you’ve seen or heard about me began with lessons I learned to live by at the Club.”
“Like many Club alumni, I can honestly say I don’t know where I’d be today without the Club. Thanks to Boys & Girls Clubs from the bottom of my heart, for all you have done for me, and for so many others.”
“I always go back to lessons learned at the Club. We discovered there was something higher than ourselves, and that giving back to others was what really mattered.”

Our Boys need your help! CHAMPIONS is a program for promoting positive values and responsible behavior in young men in the community. The journey from childhood to adulthood is not easy and this program is just one way the Blaine Branch is helping our young men choose the right path to follow. Each of our Clubhouses provides similar programming for boys ages 11 to 14, and we are always looking for volunteers to share their stories, skills, time, and energy to help these young men on their journey. Call your local Clubhouse today and volunteer just 1 hour to Passport to Manhood, Wise Guys, or CHAMPIONS. The boys are ready, but they need someone to help guide them.
