Testimonials

The Boys & Girls Club played a significant role in assisting me in moving forward and being successful. With the support and motivation of my foster parent, my teachers, and the staff at the Club, I have transformed into a new person who has the desire and ability to go to college and seek a career in social work.
Kim Hines, Whatcom County 2014 Youth of the Year
“I’ve journeyed through elementary, middle, and high school facing many obstacles. I’m near college graduation and I always credit the Boys & Girls Club for supporting me through my adolescence and as a young adult. I cannot picture where I would be in my life without the life lessons and experiences I’ve gained being a Club member.”
Vang Le, Whatcom County & Washington State 2010 Youth of the Year
“Everything you’ve seen or heard about me began with lessons I learned to live by at the Club.”
“Like many Club alumni, I can honestly say I don’t know where I’d be today without the Club. Thanks to Boys & Girls Clubs from the bottom of my heart, for all you have done for me, and for so many others.”
“I always go back to lessons learned at the Club. We discovered there was something higher than ourselves, and that giving back to others was what really mattered.”

We said goodbye to one of our amazing staff from the Lynden branch! Audrey will be missed so much by all of our staff and children that attend the Boys & Girls Club. We had a really fun going away party for her this week and invited some former staff and club members to join us! The kids loved seeing the old staff! They had a blast hanging out and playing with all of the kids! Good luck Audrey on all your new adventures! :) (3 photos) ... See MoreSee Less
